CNS Media are one of the fastest growing regional advertising agencies in the UK.

We have a strong mix of local, regional and national clients across a number of sectors including retail, public sector, recruitment, education and services.

Our Offline team work across all traditional media channels including TV, Radio, Press, Outdoor as well as other new channels and ambient media.
CNS also have a full in house digital, design and development team working on Web/App development, Animation, Graphic Design and multi-platform online marketing.

Position Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a locally based Accounts Administrator to join CNS Media, an established independent Marketing Agency in Chesterfield.

To be considered for this position it is important that you have previous experience within an accounting or finance position. In addition, you must have high attention to detail, excellent numeracy skills, strong knowledge of Excel, and can self-motivate and work to your own initiative.

Key Duties

  • Full office administration
  • Manage and support of all finance and accounting duties within this busy national marketing agency
  • Supporting the accounts director with day to day duties
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Providing account support and advice
  • Chasing outstanding invoices
  • Administration of client accounts
  • Inputting and verifying data on the system
  • Dealing with customers regularly
  • Working alongside all departments within the company

General Skills Required

  • Organized with a rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive problem-solving approach
  • Proven communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Powerpoint
  • Some understanding of the online media marketplace is preferable
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker and a team player, who will hit the ground running
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management


  • £18,000 – £22,000 pro rata, based on experience
  • The role is ideally 20-25 hours per week, the hours and terms can be discussed with correct potential candidates.
